Dear Future Client,
First, let me say how proud I am of you for taking this step. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, deciding to begin counseling is a meaningful and courageous choice. My journey to becoming a therapist began when I was a teenager. Growing up with cerebral palsy, I faced bullying and the other struggles of navigating a world that often didn’t understand or accommodate my needs. These challenges gave me a deep understanding of what it feels like to be unseen and misunderstood—and they ignited my passion for creating spaces where others feel valued, heard, and supported.
I pursued my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to turn this passion into a profession. Later, I earned a Master’s in Early Childhood Education to further deepen my ability to support children, teens, and families during critical stages of development. Advocacy is at the heart of everything I do. Whether I’m helping children build self-esteem, guiding teens toward self-discovery, or empowering families to better understand each other, I strive to create an environment of trust and healing. I am deeply committed to supporting individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as they uncover your resilience and strength.
Who I Work With
Today, I specialize in working with children, teens, and families, with a focus on neurodivergent individuals. I work with children on the autism spectrum, teens with ADHD, and families navigating the complexities of understanding and supporting neurodivergent loved ones. My goal is to provide a compassionate space where every individual can thrive, feel accepted, and build confidence.
Living with cerebral palsy has also shaped my dedication to supporting individuals with chronic illness, pain, and disabilities. I understand firsthand the unique challenges of living with conditions that others may not fully understand. This lived experience makes me uniquely equipped to connect with and support individuals facing similar challenges. I offer not just empathy, but also practical understanding and insight, knowing what it’s like to advocate for your needs and navigate a world that may not always accommodate them.

In our work together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing and develop a toolbox of coping skills that will empower you to move forward with resilience and confidence. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices and a compassionate understanding of life’s ups and downs. Together, we’ll set goals that align with your specific needs and values, whether that’s strengthening your current relationships, seeking out new relationships, helping your child navigate emotional challenges, or finding peace within yourself.
What to expect:
More about me.
As a counselor who focuses on early childhood education and emotional regulation, I have a deep appreciation for how our experiences shape us. As a mom to a nine-year-old son, I understand firsthand the joys and challenges of emotional growth and development. Outside of the therapy room, I’m a dog lover and someone who values self-care—kickboxing is my favorite way to recharge and stay balanced!
I’m honored to walk alongside you on this journey, and I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together.
